"I am the corresponding secretary for the Leicestershire Meditation Circle of Self-Realization Fellowship. We meet weekly for our meditation services in Quorn, Leicestershire. As coordinator for our group’s retreats, I was very fortunate to have found Nanpantan Hall on our doorstep. Nanpantan Hall is beautifully situated in Charnwood Forest with spectacular views across the rolling hills and woods looking towards Bradgate Park. We have held three one day retreats at the Hall in the last few years and in 2020, a weekend retreat in early September. The hall has a wonderful atmosphere, full of peace and tranquillity. "Nanpantan Hall is a hidden delight that is well worth searching out. It is a wonderful venue for that ‘get away from it all’ event. It is very accessible, just five minutes from the M1, but it has that special feeling of a peaceful venue. I have organised quite a few residential events at Nanpantan Hall over a number of years. It has been a delight to see the continuous improvement throughout the building. The attention to detail is impressive. There is now a really good combination of modern facilities and a beautiful traditional setting. The mystery of Nanpantan is hard to put into words. There is something very subtle in the atmosphere that facilitates clearer thinking and clearer feeling. On many occasions, there has been a revelation, a depth of understanding, a clarity of vision, that somehow has only been made possible through being in this unique location.
