Spirit Connection Retreat – 27-29th March, 2026

Spirit Connection Retreat

A sacred space to reconnect with spirit. Heal the past and awaken your spirit.

The Spirit Connection Retreat takes place at Nanpantan Hall from 27 to 29 March 2026. This weekend is created as a space for pause and renewal, away from the demands of everyday life. It offers the chance to explore practices that bring clarity, balance and a stronger sense of connection to spirit.

What Awaits You

Over three days, the retreat offers fire ceremonies under the night sky, yoga and breathwork to awaken energy, and healing rituals and teachings for safe spiritual journeys. Participants will move through sound journeys, shamanic-inspired ceremonies, meditation, and guided reflection, while also having time for silence, walks in nature, and open sharing in community. The retreat is designed so that each person can take what they need, whether rest, insight, or a renewed sense of direction

Nourishment

Food is prepared with care and intention. All meals are sattvic, vegan and gluten free, designed to nourish while keeping the body light and the mind clear. The rhythm of shared meals is part of the retreat itself, creating moments of connection and grounding between the practices.

Spiritual Location

Nanpantan Hall provides a supportive environment for this work. Set in the countryside, the house and gardens offer quiet places for reflection as well as spacious communal rooms where the group will gather. The surroundings become part of the retreat experience, encouraging a slower pace and a deeper awareness of the natural world.

The Spirit Connection Retreat is an invitation to reconnect with yourself in a clear and honest way. The intention is to create an atmosphere where transformation can happen gently but with depth, supported by the practices, the land and the circle of people who gather. Many participants find that the insights and shifts they experience during the retreat continue to unfold long after returning home.

Whats included?

Time, space & support to work on your business

Need to get your head down? Some of us like to work on our own and others like the comfort and support of others around us. Our Getaway offers both. There are lots of opportunities to talk with other small business owners and a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw upon. You can also book individual advice sessions with Emma Torrance, a qualified and highly experienced business adviser. But there’s also plenty of private space to work undisturbed in this beautiful, rambling mansion hired exclusively for us.

Creative & Wellbeing Activities

You are your business and that means looking after yourself, trying new things and having fun. So there’s a varied programme of activities to try; to help you relax, ease anxiety and inspire creativity. After all you’ve probably noticed how often your best ideas come when you are doing something completely different!

All the sessions are run by women who are attending the Getaway anyway so if you miss their session, or want to find out more, find them for a chat.

Good Company

Nobody understands the issues you face more than other female freelancers and small business owners. Over dinner, drinks and shared activities enjoy the chance to connect, share experiences, test ideas, swap knowledge, explore collaborations and and build lasting professional relationships.

(But it’s also absolutely fine to spend as much time as you want alone. This is your Getaway!)

Beautiful Environment

Nanpantan Hall is tranquil and peaceful. Set in 30 acres of grounds, 10 minutes from Loughborough station & the M1, access to miles of footpaths across rolling Leicestershire countryside, forest and rocks – the area that inspired the young Sir David Attenborough!

Delicious, Nutritious Food

The Getaway is fully inclusive of a delicious and nutritious vegetarian menu – 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 x three-course dinners, with help-yourself snacks and beverages available thoughout the day. Some alcoholic drinks are also available with dinner. All diets and allergies can be catered for but please advise at the time of booking.

A Room of Your Own

Virginia Woolf wrote how important a room of your own is, and for those who normally share, this could be the time to enjoy some delicious solitary-time! There are small modern en-suite rooms on the top floor in the loft space and mostly larger traditional rooms (with amazing views) and shared bathrooms on the first floor. There is also an accessible ground floor room with en-suite. Please specify your room choice on booking.

Weekend Retreat Nanpantan

June 27 – 29th 2025

“… I went with an open mind safe in the knowledge that I could simply pack up and go home if need be… I’ve had a lovely time and come away feeling I’ve found a framework for my spiritual practice that I’ve been missing for some years. So another leg in the journey begins.”

“Thank you for holding these retreats, they are magical and transformative!”

“A weekend like this is inspirational.”

By gathering in the serene Leicestershire  countryside, participants will discover how actions can be performed in such a manner as to lead to a more spiritual way of life.

The primary objective is to put into practice what we have been learning in our classes.

A successful retreat relies entirely on the collective efforts of the students and tutors, who take charge of all aspects, including meal preparation and house cleaning. We rise early, pause regularly, study, and practise with the emphasis on service.

This retreat is open to all those students in the School who have completed the first three terms of study.

The Land is Calling : The Awakening (15th – 18th May)

A FOUR DAY RETREAT IN THE HEART OF ENGLAND
MAY 15-18, 2025

The energetic direction of Spring is tenacious: upward and outward, powerful and unstoppable

This is the season to open to your dreams, visions and sweet longings.

To remember that anything is possible.

To ask yourself:
Who do you want to be, what do you long to express and embody, what gives you simple pleasure and lights the fire in your heart?

You are invited to come and sense into this land, feel your own history here, tune in to the subtle magic and messages of the earth, and be a bit pampered (well, more than a bit) in this stately, peaceful and historic home, nourished by beautiful food, and supported by gifted and skilled guides.

On offer is the opportunity to experience gentle but powerful sessions that awaken your senses, connect you to the earth, allow for spaciousness and slowing down, and welcome your authenticity – to find your own way: the true expression of your being that you have been longing for.

Spring energy is tenacious: upward and outward, powerful and unstoppable.

But it is also vulnerable: new growth is tender, unsure, easily crushed.

Our retreat offerings are designed to nurture and support you in your vulnerability and celebrate you in your tenacious bravery and authenticity.

Through ceremony you will enter the heightened field of our retreat: a place where rapid transformation can take place effortlessly.

Each morning you can join Sunrise Qigong, attuning your body and your energy to Nature and the land.

An evening session of therapeutic sound and acupuncture supports your nervous system to come into balance and open your consciousness to your expanded self.

Daytime workshops teach you new ways to speak your truth, tune into your desires and create deeper connections with others.

Our fire pit drum circle frees your voice, body and energy and connects you with joy.

Additional individual therapeutic sessions can provide bespoke support for releasing, healing and stepping into your true self.

Walk the labyrinth. Sit by the fire. Swing in the tree swing. Lighten up with Melanie & Harry, the resident pigs. Connect with the ancient land in solitude. Enjoy nourishing food in community with others. Receive the luxury and retreat of Nanpantan Hall.
